Currey and Associates, one of the most respected consulting firms in the world. Mr. Currey is an internationally recognized authority on issues impacting the risk management profession. He has been featured in numerous risk management publications and authored The American Journal of Risk Management and The AJRM Market Bulletin. Mr. Currey has also contributed to the formation of the curriculum for the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) Program. A graduate of Boston University and Suffolk University Law School, Robert M. Currey has been admitted to the Massachusetts and Federal Bar. Patricia Firth Currey — Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President Patricia Firth Currey manages the areas of the Firm involving personnel, administrative functions and financial matters. She is a graduate of Marymount/ Fordham University, Suffolk Law School and was admitted to the Massachusetts and Federal Bar. Kathleen M. Nickerson — Senior Vice President Kathleen M. Nickerson has 27 years experience in risk management. She manages the Firm's Property and Casualty Division and is the lead consultant with many of our real estate clients. Ms. Nickerson is a highly respected and well known professional in corporate risk management and has appeared on the PBS's Jim Lehrer Report to explain the impact of terrorism when structuring insurance programs that include properties in high risk areas. Ms. Nickerson has presented and participated in seminars on many insurance and risk management topics including the NMHC Property/ Risk Management Forum. Kathy is a graduate of Aquinas College and a Licensed Insurance Advisor. Brett J. Holmgren — Vice President and Senior Risk Management Consultant Mr. Holmgren provides risk management acumen and insurance consultancy to funds totaling in excess of $20B in real estate equity. He works very closely on new engagements when complex and expensive insurance challenges arise. As one of the four officers of the firm he oversees the day to day decisions of the consulting staff. His emphasis is solely on Real Estate risk management with a focus on Property and Casualty insurance for all types of real estate assets; Commercial, Residential, Hotel & Retail. His collaborative emergency response and liability mitigation work have been recognized by insurance carriers as the benchmark for evaluating high-rise office risk. He was honored with the Chairman's Award from the Illinois Security Chiefs Association for Emergency Response Planning and Fire Life Safety and is a frequent panelist speaking on emergency response and business continuity challenges throughout the country. A graduate of the College of Wooster in Ohio and a Cum Laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School where he received distinguished honors in Insurance, Contracts and Negotiation for Lawyers, Mr. Holmgren is a member of the Federal and Massachusetts Bars and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor. Susan M. Scanlon — Risk Management Consultant Susan M. Scanlon has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry. Ms. Scanlon has significant management responsibilities for overseeing complex risk management portfolios of clients with extensive real estate assets. She has particular knowledge and expertise in claims management. Sue is a Licensed Insurance Advisor. Jason M. Wren — Risk Management Consultant Jason M. Wren assists our clients in realizing their leverage in the insurance marketplace and facilitates the implementation of effective risk mitigation protocols. He works on a wide array of risk management issues including Contract Negotiation and Review, Liability Analysis, and Emergency Response and Business Continuity Planning. Mr. Wren is a member of the RMC team that addresses Homeland Security compliance regulations for a number of our real estate clients. He holds an undergraduate business degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and is a graduate of the Northeastern University School of Law. Jason has been admitted to both the Federal and Massachusetts Bar and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor. Elizabeth A. (Kinney) Lowe — Risk Management Consultant Elizabeth Lowe works in diverse areas of risk management, with a particular emphasis on contract compliance, Directors and Officers Liability, Errors and Omissions Coverages, Pollution Legal Liability, Construction Defect coverage and long tail exposure. Elizabeth recently was involved in and oversaw the placement of the Directors & Officers Insurance Program for four of the largest Private Equity Real Estate Funds in the U.S. Ms. Lowe's construction defect and Pollution Legal Liability work was a harbinger for the breadth of coverage now offered by numerous carriers. Elizabeth is a graduate of The University of Delaware, a Cum Laude graduate of Suffolk Law School, was admitted to both the Federal and Massachusetts Bar, and is a licensed insurance advisor in Massachusetts. David M. Currey — Risk Management Consultant David Currey works on the RMC team that address emergency response issues as well as other matters confronting our real estate clients. He is also a member of the compliance and contract review committee. David has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston College with a major in English, and is a licensed insurance advisor in Massachusetts. Janine Stewart — Risk Management Technician Janine Stewart has been with Robert M. Currey and Associates for 15 years. She has direct responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of technical details that impact the risk management programs of several of our large real estate clients. With meticulous attention, she ensures that the important details inherent in our business are addressed in a timely and accurate fashion. Janine is a graduate of Aquinas College. Jennifer A. Berlane — Risk Management Technician Jennifer Berlane works closely with our various property management teams throughout the world in several areas of risk management to include; Claims Management, Certificate of Insurance Compliance, Emergency Response Planning, Fire and Life Safety, as well as Engineering and Loss Prevention. Jennifer develops, tracks and audits risk transfer programs within large real estate portfolios to ensure exemplary compliance which ultimately results in fewer claims and lower overall insurance costs. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Sarah C. Shepard — Risk Management Technician Sarah Shepard works on Property, Casualty and Construction insurance issues for the Firm's real estate clients. She creates protocols for our development clients and is a specialist in marine insurance coverage. Sarah is a graduate of Boston College with a major in communications and a concentration in English.
