Risk Management CONSULTANTS

Risk Management Consultants provide day-to-day advisory services and act as subject matter experts on complex risk management issues from both client and broker perspectives. They consult on insurance placement strategies, renewals, and new placements, independently negotiating complex deals while supporting the firm’s objectives on behalf of clients. Consultants oversee the work quality of the Associates and Analysts, as well as ensure that the guiding principles of the firm are maintained.  


Andrew F. Cullen received a BBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Isenberg School of Management. He is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.


Thomas W. Goodwin received a BS from Suffolk University and graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2019. Before joining Robert M. Currey & Associates, Tom worked at a Boston-based law firm where he gained valuable insurance law experience. Tom is a member of the Federal and Massachusetts Bars, and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.


Stephen T. Gunther received a BA in History from St. Joseph’s University and a law degree from Boston College Law School. Steve is a member of the Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine and New Hampshire Bars, and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.

Shawn P. Lamothe, Senior Consultant, earned his BA in Chemistry from Clark University and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School, including Intellectual Property Concentration with Distinction. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.

Alexandra L. Bengston received a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University and a law degree from New England Law. Alexandra is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor..

Calderon received a BBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Isenberg School of Management and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School, including a Business Law Concentration with Distinction. Stephanie is a member of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and Massachusetts Bars.


Brian D. Fishman received a BA from Boston College in 2013 and graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School in 2016. Prior to joining Robert M. Currey & Associates, Brian worked at Boston and Providence-based firms where he practiced in a number of insurance-related areas. Brian is a member of the Bars for Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the United States District Court for the Districts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and the United States First Circuit Court of Appeal, and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.

Risk Management AnalystS

Risk Management is inherently complex. Our Risk Management Analysts are skilled in coordinating and managing a myriad of details on a number of accounts. They interface with clients, brokers, and insurance company representatives, as well as internal staff to answer questions and ensure that records are accurate and current. Working as part of a team under the direction of Senior Consultants, they contribute to the service and results provided for clients.
