Team Leaders represent the firm as the direct liaison to clients as they independently negotiate complex deals on behalf of those clients. They also manage and direct the training and development of the Consultants while providing technical direction and oversight. Team Leaders ensure that the guiding principles of the firm are maintained, the RMC process is properly implemented, and commitments to clients are achieved.


SENIOR TEAM LEADERS

Jonathan P. Currey, Senior Consultant, works with a number of public, private, domestic, and international clients who own large equity vehicles invested in diverse areas of real estate such as office, residential, and hospitality. His broad industry expertise includes contractual risk transfer, master property and casualty program creation, platforms for liability and builder’s risk construction, and projects across the U.S. with significant success in the difficult New York City market. Jon received a BS in Public Relations from the University of Florida and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.


Michelle McCole Long, Senior Consultant, consults on a variety of risk management engagements, including executive lines such as Directors and Officers liability, Errors and Omissions, and Crime Policy Placements. She oversees the placement for Pollution Legal Liability as well as renewals for domestic and international clients. Michelle also provides advisement for insurance coverage and contractual risk transfer strategies for construction projects. She received a BA from the University of Connecticut and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School. Michelle is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.


Kathryn C. Sullivan, Senior Consultant, provides risk management and insurance consultancy to real estate funds and developers engaged in various areas of real estate on a global basis including office, residential, and hospitality. She specializes in assessing client risk profiles and implementing the appropriate cost effective strategies to reduce their exposure. Kate also has broad experience facilitating the creation of master property and casualty programs and the development of specific placements. She received a BS in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and a law degree from Golden Gate University. Kate is a member of both the Federal and Massachusetts Bars and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.


Matthew G. Traister, Senior Consultant, develops and implements risk mitigation strategies for large domestic and international real estate owners and developers. He implements and maintains portfolio policies for complex real estate schedules and oversees construction insurance placements, as well as providing various forms of contract negotiation and compliance. Matt received a BS from the University of Vermont and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School with distinction. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.


TEAM LEADERS

Danielle M. Equi, Senior Consultant, has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry placing and overseeing property and casualty programs for large and complex real estate portfolios. She received a BS in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is a Licensed Insurance Advisor. 


Christie L. Hardiman, Director of Professional Development, oversees and manages the workflow of all Associates and Technicians at the firm to ensure that training is consistent, work is properly delegated, and requirements explained. She received a BS in Print Journalism from Boston University.


Shannon M. Recco, Senior Consultant, has experience in residential and commercial real estate and transactional finance law as a senior finance paralegal at a large Boston-based law firm. She graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a BA in Legal Studies and Spanish. Shannon is a Licensed Insurance Advisor.
